Waynesville United Methodist Church

Our Ministries

Grades K-5th

Each week during Sunday worship at 10:30 AM, we aim to partner with parents in sharing the love of Jesus with our youngest by offering a worship experience designed specifically for children!

Your child’s safety is our highest priority, and each of our adult leaders goes through training to provide safe gatherings and a full background check.

Grades 6th-12th

We believe that middle and high school years are crucial for youth to discover their relationship with God. Our youth ministry is designed to offer students a safe place to ask questions, discover who Jesus is, and build life-changing relationships with peers.

Youth meet in The Loft each Wednesday during the regular school year at 6:30 P.M. for worship and fun! Our youth have different events to hang out and build relationships throughout the year, including a week-long mission trip during the summer.

Romans 12:10 says, “Love each other like the members of your family. Be the best at showing honor to each other.”

At Waynesville UMC, we walk alongside each other in the best and most challenging moments of life. Whether you need partners in prayer, a listening ear or shoulder to cry on, a meal, or a helping hand, we are here for you.

If you or someone you know needs love and care, please reach out to our office.

Jesus said, “I assure you that when you have done it for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you have done it for me.”

We believe that our highest calling is to love God and others well. The people of Waynesville UMC are passionate about serving those in our community and world who need it most.

Throughout the year, we support local mission partners through our service and generosity. We also support worldwide missions through our connection with the greater United Methodist Church. One way we fulfill Jesus’ command to go and make disciples throughout all the earth is through The Mozambique Initiative, which partners local congregations in the US with churches in Mozambique, Africa.

More information about our mission partners and ways you can get involved will be coming soon!
